GRAPHIC Novel/illustration PORTFOLIO

Familia is an illustration of oppression, and pressure from an authoritative female figure be it religious or familial. I was inspired by saints and nuns and the whole idea of hover parenting. I was also inspired by medusa and the devil, I was really playing around with contrasting colors in this project to try and invoke a feeling of dread and anguish
